Despite the many news reports about the Coronavirus, other news items do not make the headlines as much as before. This does not mean however that they are less important. Arguably, it shows the terrible situation globally when it comes to refugees and the lack of solutions. The chart above shows the number of refugees under UNHRC’s mandate. This does not include internally displaced people, nor any of the other “categories” of refugees out there. The current display of data however already shows a staggering increase.
