Dear members and friends,

After a very busy period, our staff finally finished working on a new version of the Panoply Journal of International Relations. We have had over 50 submissions and made a selection of papers that you can find in the latest edition of  Panoply Journal

Unlike other years we put the bar higher by working with a new system that allows us to streamline the peer review process. We are very happy with the result as we have put the bar yet again a bit higher this year.

With the end of the year in sight, we are preparing a final roundtable podcast about a variety of topics. We are also working on making the website experience smoother including the forums.

We expect early next year to open again for new submissions for the journal. However, if you have short articles you can also request us to publish them on our website. Feel free to reach out.

Boris Yeltsin is fired as head of Moscow’s Communist Party for criticizing the slow pace of reform. Yet this would not stop him in his political career.
